since we shall be doing some St. Patrick's Day partying,

i purchased a thrifty green 80s dress from Edna & Pearls on Etsy:

 made a few adjustments here and there, 

hemmed the skirt up much shorter and so far it's looking pretty good!

just need to ACCESSORIZE!!

Another Vintage Dress Makeover!

Here is the original, a cute, polka-dot 70s dress in navy & white.

Has lots of holes around the waistline and the elastic was shot anyway...

After a lot of seam ripping, chopping, pinning, sewing & buttoning...

This lil midriff two piece will be fun to wear in the Spring & Summer!

(Please say they sun IS going to come back!!)

Recycled Vintage!

I recycled a HUGE muu muu into this sweet lil sundress!

I effed up the waist a lil bit but I can hide it with a belt, haha!

it's such a cute, lightweight polyester that I couldn't resist!

ESPECIALLY with those red and white polka dots <3

Mardi Gras & Old Navy Haul!

Happy Mardi Gras!

Despite the rainy weather we kidnapped Mimi and hauled the family out for the big parade!

I sought dry shelter in the Old Navy there and did some damage to my ON account :)

anyways look at these sweet accessories I scored!

the bag was $17.99, the slip on Oxfords were $13.99,

the yellow toe Ballet flats were $22.50 and these super cute, 

sheer, polka dot ankle socks were $2.50!!

grabbed an amazing tomato red slouch sweater or $10

and a super cute stripey tomato tank for $9.50!
